Ok, so this is probably very different from what you normally do, but I bought a used US made Fender Stratocaster thats in good shape but with a beat up paint job, and likely will just have it repainted in its standard black locally, but I was wondering if you would theoretically be willing to try something like this:

(Black red and grey digi) on the guitar. I understand this probably wont work because its wood as opposed to metal, but theoretically I would send it to you with all the hardware removed and ask you to paint the main body of the guitar:

Under the white pick guard is more wood that I would probably ask you to paint as well and then I would cover that with a plain black pick guard. I totally understand that this is highly unlikely to work, but give me a shout with weather or not you think it would be theoretically possible (and some idea of what it might cost).

Sorry to say but I think your right about it not working. I've painted a few wood stocks before and the whole sandblasting process isn't kind to any wood. However I could paint the pick guard...
