well, first, you can google it and find a zillion links and vids.

but, since i have done this, there really isnt much to it.

take the gun apart and grab some steel wool.

you are going to polish the inside of the gun where the bolt and tube assembly are located, creating a smoother surface for them to glide upon.

i used some ultra-uber-superhightech-mega fine sandpaper well only 600 and 1000 grit. this is found in auto parts stores as its used for detaling. Holds up great works a when well enough when wet and it so freakin fine that while it does add more time to the project it reduces the chance of oversanding.

also used aluminum mag polish, its ok, and the smallest container will last longer then ill ever have use for.
flitz gunmetal polish works well and has better results on other metals, knives, firearms, dog tags.
so i recomend flitz if you can find it.

if ya got other questions post again or drop me a pm, im sure the google search provided will cover all your bases but ya know... if.....

I scrubbed off all of the over spray with steel wool and it seems to be a lot smoother dry firing without air. I was wondering how much more polishing with aluminum polish will help?
