As some may already know, I live in Sweden, Europe. And as far as i know we only have one company that order stuff from SpecOps and thats Tacticalstore. (I got them to start taking stuff from here and sell in Sweden two weeks ago, starting with a vest and some stuff for me).

Anyways, often when a company is ordering stuff from another company in the US and selling to its customers here in Sweden you will have to wait if you just want to order small stuff like a sling of a pod. Why? Well the Swedish company doesent just order small stuff for like $15 and then pay the shipping that is nearly $80.

Therefor, my suggestion is. Offer cheaper shipping like First Class Mail International, Express Mail International and Priority Mail International (Those flat rate envelopes and boxes) on small stuff/light weight like pods, slings and other small and inexpensive stuff. I know that you may not deal with USPS right now, but if you want to make it possible of us in Europe to buy your stuff and not pay $80 in shipping, please consider my suggestion.

Thanks
Tobias

The problem with mail is that is doesn't give you real time tracking. If a customer is looking for his stuff it may take a couple of days to find where it is. Customers don't like that answer.

There's no perfect cheap way to give you instant tracking internationally.

I know, but for cheap stuff it doesn't matter. I mean i would not cry if my sling was lost in the mail (its only a 15.95 value), i am crying at the current shipping prices tho.

And tracking & insurance is available for an additional cost, i dont think that they should start shipping out vests with USPS, just cheap stuff that is easily replaced. I for one know that alot of people in Sweden is interested by the gear that SpecOps carry, but for the price to ship it here? No thanks.

We do hear the cries of our international customers.

I have challenged my shipping guy to come up with a less expensive option for international shipments. I hope to have something in place by next month.

The best option I can suggest in the meantime is...

First...Get together with some friends or a paintball store and combine orders to make a larger order.
Second...Call us instead of placing the order online...if the order is large enough, we'll knock the "handling" off of the "shipping & handling" so that you are only paying our true shipping cost. Because of the larger order, we can afford to take the hit.

Not only does this give you a much better deal on the initial cost of shipping but it typically gives a little less painful deal on your countries taxes and customs fees.

First, thanks for listening to your customers!

And yes, those are great tips to have it a little cheaper. I am exited to see what your shipping guy comes up with, as stuff with a total value of ~$75 (shipping included) that comes in to Sweden is tax/toll free:) Also, often when its USPS they dont take the shipping cost into account, so often they just take tax on the value of the item:)
