I think you would be better off just sticking to .68 cal instead of .50 cal. I think that the .68 would be more consistant with breaks vs the .50 cal. so I've witnessed. maybe it was just the paint IDK. Its up to you do whatever you want.
Excuse me I mean .43 cal not .50

If you can't hack it, then I suggest you pack it!
I'm on it like white on rice, with a glass of milk in a snow storm.
Doesn't matter what gun you have, as long as you can hit what you're looking at.

most local shops that sell the chaser run out of markers before ammo..

my local shop that i just go in to get my tanks filled and buy paint by the bag had over 200 chaser type pistols in stock, now they are down to the 2 on the wall, but they also have enough ammo to possibly get you through a weekend game if u played straight pistol..

when i was at discount paintball they said their chasers flew off the shelf but they still have alot of .43 caliber paintballs in stock..

now the guy at my local shop said something about.. oh if you pull ur pistol the person is only going to be 30 feet away from you when you use it, so even if the round is smaller and gets taken by the wind u still have a chance at hitting him..

idk about some of you but if someone is 30 ft away from me, im not pausing and pulling out a pistol...

There is a reason why .68 cal became the industry standard. It breaks easier and marks better than the smaller paint. If you know anyone who has been involved with the sport since the 80's just ask them. The .50 and .43 cal paint is kinda like rifled barrels. Every so often someone decides to be "innovative" and come up with stuff that is not worth all the hype.

my 2 cents:
Go with a T8.1 - better marker all around and the 8.1 has remote air on the gun, not on the mag.

The only negative about the Tiberius is the size of the handle which I think has been made smaller in the 8.1.

The original T8 has to have the adapter that goes in the magazine. The T8.1 can accept a remote to the marker.

i have a tpx and although it had its problems at first ive come to like it and it has kept me playing in quite a few games where my guns have broken down or run out of air. the magazine price difference from the tiberius guns was a significant influence in my purchase decision but idk if that is an issue for you.

to me the chaser seemslike it would be a bad choice because:
some fields wont let u use non-field paint
they have a shorter range than a tpx or tiberius
no remote line option

as far as the tiberius goes the mag price turned me off and ive heard that the grip is large and awkward to hold
the tpx however is very comfortable and well balanced.

i would advise going to a proshop and holding both a tiberius and tpx to see how they feel, and id advise against the kingman

thats exactly what i did.. and my friends only like the chaser because the top half slides back....

but the TPX feels more real in my hand then any tiberius.

if i were gonna go with a smaller caliber pistol, id pay RAP4 a visit and get one their sig models =)

i thought hard on this.. and got the sa-8 from pepperball.com but then tiberius said no way and gonna tell fields...

i just dont want to deal with the hastle.. so i got rid of it to tiberius... for 3 fs 8.1 mags.. and got a tac 8.1 from here.... cant wait to go play...
i really like the feel of the 8.1......

out of seeing all the pistols (was at a local field today who had a few pistols... and i got to hold them all and liked the tiberius the best.... also they allow non field paint!!!!!!! WOOT!!!!!)
