This just in. Blue needs players, so the few of us coming from Broken Arrow are switching over!

WE WILL SEE YOU ON THE BLOODY FIELD OF BATTLE!

why not wait until after the 10th when everyone sends there last min early registeration in . then see were the chips lay before switching.

I agree, and then there are the walk ons, man really want to run with you all, but if you must do whats you have to do then thats cool,
you guys are great on either side. We know where your heart was, above all else we thank you for that. But like John says wait till the 19th
to make the final. See you there on either side, you better come on over to our campsite. { in the morning there will deffently be Coffee}

That is definitely true. I called Joe when he was in need of refs and he mentioned the a large difference in the size of the teams. Not having played a scenario in over a year, I completely forgot about the possibility of walk-ons balancing the field.

In any case, the liklihood of it being just me from the team is quite high, so I'll work things out with them when I call again. I've wanted to play on the south side for quite some time so I will push to get back on red. But numbers are numbers and I will put my team wherever necessary to balance the game if our impact on it will be high enough.

Either way, all of you are going to hear an obnoxious guy on the roof at some point in the game, especially now that we can climb through windows :dry:

And yes, I will stop by the campsite.

Any idea on the total number of people? I truly hope this is not a 1000 plus event with 50 people standing behind a wall longballing. Blanding is meant to be played with a limited number of people, promotes mobility contributing to a much more exciting game.....One can only dream since Viper's invite event fell through a while back.

Our last Blanding event in Feb '08 was about 350 players. So far we have a few more than that preregistered. Our preregistered limit is 600. We are also opening up a few more acres of the woods to give every avenue of play to the players.

:welcome: The numbers are not yet in I will post this weekend.
Right now it looks to be between 400 and 500

I do want to Thank Everyone who is supporting SXP and this event, we look forward to seeing everyone again, and meeting all the new players that are signing up. Eric, Myself, our team, and a number of other teams have worked and are still working really hard to provide you all with a great game at an even greater location. When we started we were only planning on about 250 players, which has since almost doubled, and we thank you guys for giving us a try.
Friday Night Burgers and Dogs are on us.
SEE YOU ALL AT BLANDING
