I have an ion and its been a good marker for me.

its stable, easy to clean, and an all around good marker.

However if you HAVE the money for the mini, go for it because at the end of the day it is a better marker IMO.

but that is not to knock on the ion its just that it is a cheaper marker and preforms as such.

me, my dad, and my brother have all had ions( i still do) we love them, i have never ever ever EVER broke a part cleaning it. you could either buy uprades for an ion and get it to the performance of a mini or you can just buy a mini, becuase stock the ions arent all that great. even tho i am a ion lover i would say go the extra mile and get a mini.
