primed the shells last night at work with sum generic all purpose primer, its grey, not that it really matters since im going to paint all over the primer so thats why no pictures of the primed body.
purchased three cans of krylon metalic one blue, one green. and one purple.

the plan thusfar is smooth out the primer with some 600 grit sand paper (find this in automotive places of business) then use the three colors in angled horizontal lines so when the black overcoat is applied the snakeskin lines should vary in any vertical section

my biggest fear at this point is that if the colors look like paint splatter then i might be confusig some refs out their. but thats just me overthinking the plan.

probally lay some of the color paint later this week. would have done all this by now but my big decided not to go to sleep thursday night till 9pm..... friday.
it was great, he read every single letter of 1fish 2fish for three whole pages before he got as bored with it as i did then we watched disney movies for like 6 hours, i hate snowwhite especially when i doze off and wake up to a floating face with walts voice getting sarcastic with me that the dvd menu has been up for some time and my kid i still playing and im not part of the train bridge.

so, yeah, ive been tired.

side note, add fearfactory drones to available music selection since i can and should.
other side note, dont forget to feed the sacrifice, she needs her strengh to appease the dark one

things ive missed explaining
- found the best way to remove the flatline barrel from shroud
1 take well carpeted floor
2 hold flatline in hand with exit port of barrel facing down
3 do your best impersination of dan henderson hammer fisting a down opponet and watch the barrel fly over your head and hit you bud who didnt notice you doing this.

- in order to properly remove all fungus off your feet several applications may be required

now on to the new news. got most of the black coat done, in fact all thats left is the stock.
probally get to that in the morning and pics will come later as well
just felt like braggin and hopefully entertaining my now almost cult like following.

well at least my kid thinks highly of me

That's sick! Like you said, the black is overpowering the rest, and I think it looks sweet. The marker should look more black than anything else from a distance, but up close you've got a very unique and awesome-looking pattern going on. :dodgy:

a failure!

and then supreme victory in the form of a thought!
(that arch enemy link works well for typing this post)

when to grid up the rear stock and somewhere along the way the mesh shifted and i ended up with a totally black stock, im ok with this since that was the original idea long before this thread ever started and well before Capt O finally hit puberty (finally got his first facial hair in September, im so proud of him)
along the long black path i took in painting black (good song) i ended up using some 000 fine steel wool to clean up an oversprayed part and managed to add more hightlight to the one square inch of properly done area and thought, "I should go home and eat, watch UFC, type an updated to the painting thing, sleep at somepoint and later Sunday during some halftime or dull game try that 000 fine steel wool on some of the finished pieces and see if it adds some life"

i then finished my shift, went home, ate, whatched UFC (knew kimbo would develope a ground game and hope Hamil is OK) did some of the other stuff mentioned and later tommory (not a misspell in my dictionary) will do that thing that must be done then try the wool.

now is the time in spec ops where we dance.

why arnt you dancing?
