Hey guys, I'm trying to get more into speedball, so I've decided I need a new gun. I've been looking at the Dangerous Power G3 and the Eclipse Etek2. Are there any other guns in this price/performance range that you would recommend? Also, why? Thanks in advance guys.

From what I have heard, G3's are great. Super light and fast fr the reccreational player. Eteks...I would just get an older model Ego. Maybe like an 08...

You will be a lot better off buying a used highend, then a g3. A lot of people have problems with them. Look at like an 06-07 ego, they can be found for less than 400 bucks a lot of times.

A old SFT shocker can be purchased for like 200 bucks. Great gun and a killer deal on it nowadays seeing as I paid a grand for mine back in the day.
Coming soon.

I agree with the sft suggestion.

Dont get a g3, they are cheaply made, and all my buddys who have had one have regretted it, pretty much any DP gun as well.

An Eteck2 is also a good choice.

I agree with a few members on this subject SFT is a Plus and older model ego like an 08 would be great and the Etek 3 AM or LT is out personally If you were to go with the Etek3 go with the etek 3 Am it comes with modes and what not i heard that the LT version only has Semi but other than that all the markers i mentioned are fine guns.

I am pretty sure Planet Eclipse wouldn't sell a marker with only one firing mode. That just sounds ridiculous. I will check right now.

It has ramping and semi, and you can program them how you want them.

im sure that you will find those that speedball on here with pumps, and older semi's, but if you are looking for a mainstream speedball gun, and want to go used, then here a few things that i would look at ... but this is only for me , others may say alot differently.

if you want a pm, do not go older than a pm5, a dm ? don't go older than a dm4, an ego? dont get older than an 06ego, no macdev's any older than 05, any bob long, any mini, pmr, ions are really good guns, they got a bad rap imo, nxt's OR sft shockers- but no older than 03 ( i personally prefer sft's ), there are lots of good speedball guns out there ... what you might want to check on first if you are looking at a used one, is the availability of quality replacement parts out there ... there will be more maintenance with an older gun, and so you may need more spare parts ... trigger microswitch, orings, noids, etc.
