I own a Jeep which, according to Enzo Ferrari himself (Yes, seriously), is 'America's only real sports car.' Take that, pony cars. :)

Anyways. I'm personally holding out for VW's promise to bring the Golf GTD (Diesel version of the GTI) to North America in late 2010, for 2011 model year. Failing that, resale prices on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X's are looking pretty sweet right now, and they whip the Scooby.

Evo 10's are freaking hard to get in Canada IIRC. I know a guy with one, it's pretty sick.

I put the Jetta into winter mode today. Winter tires, OEM rims, and a stock unpainted front bumper.

There will be projects over the winter.

neat. in the Valley in Oregon, we have either "sunny" weather or "rain" seasons. so....wintering the cars is simply giving it anti-freeze, cold weather oil, and then making sure the wheels and tires are good to go in the ice. since that happens more than snow does.. again, in the valley lol. over the east side, over the Cascades, they have somehting of a normal winter!! (high desert ya know..)

nice thing about the Valley, lots of decently rust free projects to be found.....and lots of decently priced mid 70s/early 70s cars..foe example , a 1973 Charger Brougham with the 318 smog motor (originally a California car) with nice red-orange paint, HUGE front end...its so huge, i could in theory fit in a 12 cyl or a complete beeeeefy twin turbo with intercooler and still have room for the v8

I prefer my boost gauge on my steering column. That way I can glance at it easier without losing concentration.

The only reason I use it is when my car is on the dyno or when Im turning up(or down) the boost for a race. So it is easier to see it through the back window. :P Not to mention my cluster so small that the gauges would probably swallow my tach and speedo if they were on the steering column lol.

Btw, dont ever buy eBay quick release kits! waste of time. They squeak really bad. :P

Tell me you got the V8. I work at a Chevy dealership so I've driven a few. We wash them all the time. What color did you get?

I actually haven't seen any with white stripes. I really like White with black stripes. You should post pics when you get it.

If all goes as planned, I'm getting a 70 Challenger.

Though Chargers, Camaro's and Firebirds are also options.
