Ok all you people with iPod touches and iPhones that think that jailbreaking is only for uber smart geeks. This is the easiest jailbreak ever. It is called blackra1n. All you have to do is plug your iPod touch or iPhone into your computer, open up blackra1n and press "make it ra1n". It's that simple. I mean, even a cave man could do it. Ok, maybe not.

Here is the download link http://blackra1n.com/ Just click either the apple or the windows icon depending on what computer you are using to preform the operation. I must warn you first, this does cause your warrenty to be void if apple finds out (ie you bring it to them saying the screen is cracked, they turn it on and see a custom theme and tell you that they won't fix the screen because you jailbroke it.) but you can always click restore in iTunes to wipe the jailbreak and restore to factory settings.

Also when you jailbreak it will wipe everything on you iPod or iPhone off so be sure to back it up!

Yeah, if they find out you did it.
But seeing as his a is a 1st gen, there is no warranty left anyway.
If you are having trouble with it and it's still under warranty all you have to do is plug it into your comp and hit restore.
and if your comp wont recognize that an iPod/iPhone is plugged in, just put it in DFU mode and it will find it, then you can restore.

I have a 1st gen iPod, but I don't use it anymore since I have newer models... Any ideas as to where I can sell it?
