People who say anything is possible never tried to slam a revolving door!!
There is no problem that cannot be solved with the proper application of explosives and duct tape.
How's that for a contradiction?

knives... unless they are fitted correctly, knuckle dusters can become knuckle busters in a heartbeat

That little Izula II in the sig above is a current fave of mine. Great knife for bushcrafting. And was handy pier fishing the other day too. Comes in handy a few times a day actually.

Speaking of throwers, I'm aiming to get some Cold Steel True Flights or Perfect Balance throwers in the near future. Looks to be good knives, that just happen to be designed for throwing.

1-I, how did you end up doing with this ? It was about a year ago, did you keep trying it ?

I've always thrown knives, measured steps and then painstakingly tried to find the balance on a knife to throw it just right... never having much success. I have never had, nor thrown a true throwing knife. but i imagine it would be cool to have some arouond and become proficient at it.

I no-spin throw at short distances. Basically you throw the knife point first so it sticks up to a few yards without measuring steps or counting rotations.

HA .. well that explains a lot. "in the movies" the blade always flips about a gozillion times, and then it sticks perfectly. its good to know that you don't really need it to flip at all ! lol

Ok new favorite knife HAS to be finger armor. If you don't know what it is, image search it on Google and you'll see what I mean.

Seen em at flea markets in po-dunk knife vendors. Looks like something Sauron would wear in LotR.

Problem though. It serves no practical purpose. At all. Whatsoever. Any perceived purpose you can think of for one can be accomplished more readily by any number of other options.

Unless your purpose is to make your finger look like Sauron's.

i took a look at these, since you suggested it.... and i agree, they do look pretty cool .... but i would also have to agree with PW that they would pose a danger to the wearer of it. I am a clumsy oaf, so i would end up probably killing myself with something like this, but for the relatively cheap price ??? they do look pretty sweet, but i would rather have a small concealed neck knife on a lanyard before i would try one of those.
