just waht the title says. a T2W stock that was set up to allow you to attach M98 stocks or A5 stocks (one of the two) instead of being a fixed system.

We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

so a t2w style stock that will let someone attach any 98 or one for a5 style stocks instead of just the normal longbow t2w?

Exactly.

it's be more of a mountable adapter block than an actual stock- if it was made for an A-5 style stock, it'd be as easy as making a block with two holes for the retaining pins and the part of the stock that actually goes into teh marker, and you'd be done. it could even be simple milled aluminum attached to the existing T2W stuff

Seems like it could be very flimsy if not braced correctly. Maybe just having a few t2w variants would be better in the long run.

Why would it be more flimsy than the existing T2W stock? You'd already be using that as a base anyway, but instead of the longbow stock it's just have an adapter block for A5/X7 stocks

Or how about a T2W stock with a standard M4 buffer tube on it. Then you could attach any M4 stock to it. That should be easy to make solid. Just a block of aluminum with some threads for the buffer tube.

I like the idea. the 98c stock seems to be quickly becoming (or unbecoming) the paintball standard for paintball stocks. My main issue with the idea is that most stocks for 98s or a5s are already fairly long. that being said maybe the adapter should be more of a J shape so that the stocks arent quite as long. any plans for remote? If you could do a tunnel type thing within the adapter part (threaded for hose attatchments) I could see it being quite popular.

I would like to see the adaptability of it being high and short or low and long kept. it doesnt seem impossible to me as all you'd basicaly need is for your J peice to have holes for bottom line attatchments on both ends and your stock end basicaly has two threaded holes for said bottomline holes.

I'm not sure what's being talked about here... but SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE A STOCK ADAPTER. Cuase I'm not re-buying parts that I ALREADY own just to stick them on a different gun.
