For someone from Boston, living in Charlotte, NC, this is HILARIOUS! We got 3, maybe 4 inches. The city shut down today, and isn't doing much else tomorrow.
My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Hahha i live a couple miles outside of boston, we've gotten a few feet already but i'm still classifying it as a pretty warm winter - we've gotten more rain than anything.

i agree, this has really seemed like a warm winter, but it's snowed easily 10 times as much as it did last year.

Nope, you're not getting old. When you get old you see it's not snowing as much.

"When I was a kid we had snow up to our eyeballs... In JUNE! We had to walk 50 miles to school, up hill both ways, in bare feet carrying 100 lbs of homework!"

"Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah."

I just found out I am moving to Boston. At least I will graduate high school by the time I do, but as previously stated, whats going on with the snow up there?

Also, I am no longer going to have a paintball team, nor will I know anyone to hang out with in general. Oh what an awesome summer will I be having!

There is a large contingent of MCB guys up here in the Boston area. If you play pump or use an old school marker you will fit right in.

I was suppose to go get my permit last Thursday...I got home, asked where my mom was...she had scheduled an appointment for the dog to go to the vet for a checkup...so, I wait till today, I told her we needed to leave as soon as I got home, and that really, she should pick me up from school....well, she let my sister go out to lunch with a friend, so she didn't get back until after we had to leave, my mom didn't have the money, so she had to stop at the bank...we got there to late to get the permit...so now, if I'm lucky, I can go tomorrow, but if not I'm going to have to wait until at least next Thursday...which sucks...she's been promising I can get it for months now...ever since I was cleared by the doctors to get it...and now she keeps putting it off and or scheduling other things over it...

I was told, and i quote

"Austin, why dont you have a lady freind? you treat everyone so nice and your defiantly man material. a girl would have to be crazy not to go out with you"

My reply:

"alright, want to come get a cup of coffee with me?"

"no"

Thus i have proven.

no, girls apparently seem to like being treated like crap.

Why i came to this conclusion: i was dating a girl off and on, i played the stereotypical "nice guy" act for the entire time. she never really seemed that interested in m really. she dumped me and got a new boyfriend. out of frustration, i treated her like crap. To my surprise, i suddenly was getting MORE texts/calls from her. i took it a bit farther and it got worse.

we dated again and i dumped her, still wants me back. she was too floozy for me.

Same thing happened to me for years. Hell, I showed my girlfriend this quote while we were sitting doing homework (well, I should have been) and she just got a huge grin on her face.

Women...

Women naturally overly complicate stuff.

Prime example: Colors.
Men see red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.
Women see red, salmon, dusty rose, pink, burnt umber, orange, goldenrod, honey, mustard..................

Women can identify a color by it's freaking smell, but when they describe anything mechanical it's always doohickey, thingamajig, whatsit, doodad...
