Just making a thread to see if anyone in the area might be going to Greene this weekend, and I will probably post up every week I plan on going. Just hoping to get as many people out to this field as possible.

Man Iowa is such a deadzone for paintball, is there anyone in the area that goes to this field?

agreed... for woodsball anyways.. speedball is a little bit better about that.. lol

Thats too bad apparently there was some guys up there about 2 weeks ago, and just dominated a bunch of newer players, and are claiming they can whoop on anyone so I guess some of the veterans of the field have challenged them so it sounds like it might be a good time, hopefully the weather holds off.

Well good news was the weather held off. But I dont know if any of the players that were there 2 weeks ago were there yesterday, but oh well it was a great day of paintball.

But just like the week before...yep you guessed it I plan on going again this weekend.

Maybe sometime OPFOR can take a small trip up there. We have a team in Wisconsin and Minnesota that could probably come for the big games too, next year I was told there will be a big game held at Adventure park, share a few facts, landmines will be used, and sold, tripwire types, and possibly a TM15 raffled off.

That would be cool if you could ever make it this way, ive played at Adventure Park its not too bad, only really has a 1 1/2 acre woodsball field, but the Battlefield Vietnam field is cool its small but the trenches are cool. But Greene is bigger and more woodsball oriented, and he also runs a scenario every year at the end of June.

So is Adventure Park, they do not cater to speedballers, there is no airball field at the outdoor anymore.

Havent you been there only once or twice? I mean I could be wrong but I normally remember scenario players out there, and I am sure your one I havent seen there and about 98% of them there play for OPFOR now. There was a team there called 1st-PID but they merged with us this last year and dont think your apart of them either if your based in des moine.

Like I said I could be wrong but majority of them out there I know cause we all play together.

Well I just meant most of the fields are mowed except for 3 and its a bunch of small fields put together. But Greene basically just has 2 fields layed out on 24 acres and the only parts that are mowed are the walking paths to the bases, 1 of them being the boundry for field #1 and #2. All I was trying to say it that its basically one big woodsball field and there arent a bunch of small fields put into one to where you cant see the other team at the start of each game.
