I just need a quick answer. Whats the best way to remove microline on the front of a cocker? I tried last time and i riped the hose up, any techniques or such?

Side cutting pliers, a razor blade, and some replacement hose.

I use small pliers grab right at the end of the nipple and pull

It's been a while for me, but I used to get a small fine tipped flat head screwdriver (or anything thin and flat) and pry the hose end off the barb. Failing that, I would use needle nose pliers, grab as close to the barb as I could, and twist while pulling at a 45* angle.

Find a non-tooth pliers or one with very small teeth, and then grab below the barb, don't actually grab the barb or you could rip it, and then just pull.
