Life is hard, therefore death must be easy.
Life sucks, and resistance is futile.
Trying is the first step to failure. Thus if you don't want to fail; don't try.

I own a T8, and I use paintball oil. But I've had a friend use vasaline on his. If you don't have oil, I'd say use what you have, but break it down and clean it out very very very well when you get home. DON'T WAIT til next week sometime.

A Tiberius Tac8 is a paintball marker, NOT a gun. Your dye lube is more than fine to use on it.
Most gun oils are designed to break down carbon build up and that can trash o-rings.
Vaseline? No, don't use it. It's too thick, too hard to clean out and tends to attract dust/grit which can cause scratches on the internals.
In a pinch, you can use a bit of vegetable oil, but it needs to be cleaned out after use. Natural oils can and do spoil and get sticky as it breaks down.

Not to mention Vaseline is petroleum-based ... that will wreck your o-rings (if I remember correctly).

didn't say it was smart... but it was what he had in his gear bag. needless to say concerning THIS thread, and considering it's been more than a day, this isn't exactly a "pinch" situation.
