Hey, My first gun was a Tippmann A5 that I got from my cousin. I have been using it for 2 years and I really like it

Although, its one of the old steel ones, this marker is reliable, accurate, and very durable. Here are some goods and bads of this marker.

Goods:
Durable ;)
Accurate
Customizeable
Cyclone Feed

Bads:
Heavy (Old steel models)
Hard to clean :laugh:
Gas eater

This gun is great and its a great gun to upgrade to from a 98 or some of Spyders guns. Its on here RIGHT NOW in the B/S/T section, but I have loved this gun since the day I got it.

I never had problems cleaning any Tippmann markers. Well besides the first time opening up an X7. All the springs shot out hehe.

But I give the same rating on an A-5, just an overall great marker.

You shouldn't have to clean the A5 very often. As far as I know the A5 has never been made out of steel but they are lighter than the X7. I still prefer my 98C over my A5

i have two 98c and A5 , i have shot a few others, i clean mine about very 3 times of playing or 2000 rounds witch every comes first. i would rate Tippmann
high on my list. 9 out 10.

Now, i don't have an A-5, but i use my friends marker quite a bit; almost every weekend that is. Atleast once, because i have a marker of my own, but i love it alot and i would buy one if i were you. Fast, VERY durable and cool-looking =).

I have a 98 and a A5. I like the 98 a little better. I clean them up about every couple of times and have no problems with either. I have the 98 set up as an assault and have a paintball sniper kit on the A5. I had the 98 set up as a paintball sniper at one time but I am a little more accurate at long distances with the A5 for some reason.
