Well tracks just dont seem cost effective in my mind.
Default tank ideas, turret, multi barrel full auto, cat launching crossbow.
The removal of glass with netting does make sense in that keep it clean and visible but wouldnt spray through just leave you cleaning your goggles constantly and thus one less hand on the wheel? Im not sure here, havent been in a tank before.

I understand this is a necropost, but I've been gone for a while...
I have a '93 Jeep Cherokee Country 4WD in the shop, and I'm looking for something new. I'm strongly considering making the jeep into an APC, but I haven't figured out how I want to do it yet. Any thoughts?

Check with the fields and event producers in your area. Some places may not allow tanks built on the chassis of a road/highway vehicle. It depends on what their insurance says and if they use the GSRP (General Scenario Rules of Play) or not. If they use the GSRP then you will not be able to use the Jeep as anything built after Dec 1998 has to be built on the chassis of an off road vehicle such as a golf cart, gator, mule , etc.

the GSRP site is up for sale. there's a new sheriff in town.
Shrek has established some tank rules that are purported to be in the process of adoption across the nation. i believe they are posted on supergame.tv, at the moment.
most of the tanks in the PACNW are highway chassis vehicles.

It seems frivolous, most of the SO "positions" are complete and utter crap. Allowing motivated players to classify themselves and overthink the game.
If you want to build a tank, then build a tank. There's a healthy and vibrant community of tankers out there somewhere in the dark recess of the internet, I assure you.
Besides, it's so out of the reach of the average person, a marketing campaign could only end badly in this economy. What would SO sell? Tanker's boots?!?

-Need i remind you that this is a forum not a review section of the shop. Yes it is out of reach for most players but it is also really amazing to see what people can create who can afford it. Plus Specialops Paintball would gain alot of publicity if they had a dedicated section for one of the most searched requests on google
