Is my G3 a gas hog? and how do i fix it

I love that feeling when you recieve a new marker. Not having too much of a clue on how to change settings and whatnot. Except I usually get so excited I read everything in the manual and can change anything you ask me to before it's in my hands :(.

LOL nice. I read... I just forget. lol... and then lose the manual.

I looked at the board but I didnt see any way to change the dwell

Real easy to find. If its the same as the threshold, 4 of the dipswitches control firing modes, and the furthest right (? maybe left...) two switches control dwell.

im a fairly low tech mechanical player myself, but it sounds like it could be what ablunts to the ivg on the g3 being messed up.

Not really, I think it has been decided that its the dwell. That is controlled by electronics and the solenoid.

So, i took it to the gun tech. he set the pressure to 150 (it was at 200) and said LEAVE IT THERE i dont care if its under chrono. It worked amazing all day, was getting 8-9 pods and 2 hoppers off of a 68/45, and even then i had air left just refilled cause i was getting low. I think its his hat... he has this magical pink dye hat... he fixes things without even touching them.

G3's are on the air sucker side of the spectrum.
My friend uses one, and he gets 6 pods from his 45/45. He is also new, so it's still in the break in period.

my g3 is pretty good with efficiancy.

i use a 68/45 and my field only has 3000 fill stations

and i get a hopper and 5 pods at most

so about 900 shots give or take

just use the 68 if you dont wanna

switch the dwell
