Ok, I know almost everyone hates Smart Parts but they do make some awsome markers. I love my SP-1 but it needs more. Just to let you guys know I dont have a good photoshop program so I did what I could with Microsoft Paint. I'm in the works for making a drum mag for my SP-1 and moding the body a bit. So far it all should work in theory so I ordered some parts from Palmer and Evike Airsoft. This is what I had in mind...

Please let me know your input on this. If you have any ideas let me know I will take critasism to better my project. And if spc ops wants to use this idea for some mods, be my guest. just hook me up with some props (and maybe some parts) LOL!

Ya, pretty much everyone does hate smart parts, but your idea looks alright, it'll probably just be a project for you to work on, but who knows? maybe someone else will want one too...

With the exception of the double trigger (yuck) and and no trigger guard (shame on you), I like it.

I would like to see more mods

I like that a lot! If it was well made, I think it would be a very cool marker.
And for only working with paint, I'd say you did a pretty good job. :)

I've been rather out of the loop lately, so I don't know if anything is in the works for the SP-1; but if it's not, some of the components of your design there would be very good ideas.

The drum mag is just a airsoft drum mag that has a Halo V-35 in it. (Still needs alot of work before it reaches my standards) I seen one simmalar on the RAP-4 forum. The lack of a trigger guard and the double trigger is so I can realy get my fingers walkin'. If I feel like playing sniper I just remove the drum mag and put the long bow mags back in. I'm going to try to make this as profesional as I can. I hate moded markers that look like a 12 year old whent nutz with his dads dremel and super glue. It's going to take me a while to finish but it will be worth the time and effort put into it. Also do you guys think a A5 shroud could be made to fit wiyhout too much moding?

Trigger guard not necessary, as the airline and mag completley box in the trigger.

True, but it still doesn't look right to me with a double trigger and no trigger guard.

Yeah. I know that some of the opsgear shrouds are held on with set screws so I figured I could fit one around the body and mount it. I know it will take some cutting and sanding but I will force it to work! I just need to get some dimensions on the shroud if I can before I buy one.

If you can get the feed system to work in a Warp-fed style like that, and still have it fairly small unlike an actual warp system, i'll be extremely impressed. good luck

Smart Parts has actaully been making some changes because of all of the complaints, give them a chance, plus the SP1 is a ballin marker from what i have heard.

I am definately loving this design, its clean, looks MilSim but everything has a function, something very rare. I love it.

I'm not going to lie, that's a sexy marker. Very good job configuring that only using Paint! If you can get that box mag to work I'll be very impressed. I've been dreaming up potential designs for various such mag designs and none of them pass the feasibility test... Good luck with this project and I encourage you to see it out and give it your best effort. I can also share some of my Mag ideas with you if you'd like them (PM me).
