Vettes are really nice faster and American made but they are far to common in America. A porsche will attract a larger crowd than a corvette
THE END IS COMING!!!! AND IT WILL BE UNTIL IT GETS HERE!!!!!!
CAUTION IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY IT IS ADVISABLE TO KEEP DUNCEB4LL AWAY FROM FIRE AND FLAMES.

hey cheak some of these cars out, or at least quickly comment on them

2004 Subaru WRX STi 4 cylinder 3.6 litre engine. not half bad on gas ( canada says its about 45,000 bare bones)
2006 subaru WRX STi, basically like the 2004 but a little more flashy.
2009 chevrolet camaro, you can llok at the 3.8 V8 but id say go with thier 3.6 V6 engine, much more gas efficiant and less on insurance, ( you can get the bare minimum for 27,500 Cdn. but you can put heated leather seats and a whole giddy-up of extra's in there.)
1993-1996 corvette's ( like the 95 gran sport) thier great cars, they sit a litttle higher to the road so its easyer to get into. ( the'll be at least 40,000)
2009 chevrolet malibu hybrid, the car can become your sexy entourage. but the brake is touchy like all hybrid cars. ( 40,000 area)
2008/2009 mercedes AMG SL 55/65 series. these new cars look absolutly amazing. saw them in the toronto autoshow a couple weeks ago and was blown away. these can start at about 80,000 and work up to 250,000 lol. but these are like pure sexy.

http://www.mercedes-...L65BlackSeries/

they also have the same version. but 150,000 cheaper :P
( you drop the 680 HP engine and the carbon fiber interior )

http://www.mercedes-...com/index2.html
flip through some models. you may be intrested in the roadster modles.

With the economic crunch, I'd say buy American, but the porsche is pretty! If you want both American and style I suggest the Ford GT, that's my dream car... sigh.

I really wouldn't buy a 911 going into college. First, you might not be driving enough to really need it. And second, I personally see every Porche driver as a jerk, and you being signficantly younger than the usual Porche driver, I would probably think you were the biggest NERTZ without even speaking to you. This isn't a personal attack or anything, I'm pretty sure you're a real modest and cool dude, but I'm just saying what first impressions you might give off rolling up to college in a Porche 911.

Are you agitating my dots? 10%

What JP said. You don't need to drop that much on a car going to school - not only is it pointless to have a car that nice while paying for school, but it's harder to find the trunk space if you need to haul anything at all.

If you have to buy something nice, roll the Subaru WRX. Much less expensive, and lots more space for people and/or stuff. Also, better MPG. Also, less likely to get pulled over in if you're disregarding the speed limit.

And mommy might be happy to see that her little boy is being frugal and doesn't need them to spend all that cash on him.
