i play soccer along with paintball, so i have the under-armor style sliding shorts. they are quite effective for paintball, but i would recommend a pair of shorts specifically suited for the game. a little more padding would be great, as the sliding shorts are mainly used a larger object which has a better chance of not scoring a direct hit.

I wear a cup. I have spandex shorts with a cup pocket. I haven't been shot there yet, but I figure as soon as I stop wearing it, I'll get shot there...

Besides, I've seen too many people get nut-shot to be so laissez-faire about my family jewels. Personally I shot a kid wearing SKINNY JEANS to play in the nuts. He went down.

I don't care what you wear...wear something, so you stop complaining when I shoot you there

i just run around the field with one hand cupped over my nuts, and the other firing the gun wildly ... lol

i have seriously considered the sliding shorts,

maybe just attach a metal pan to a belt, and let it swing like a toga .. haha .. then at least you would know how many "saves" you have had .... ting .... ting ting ..... ting ....lol

I get nut shots all the time and my Fusion X's do a great job protecting my boys.

If you ever think the cod-piece on Fusion X's look a little silly, I and my future children would have to disagree.

Get something that has light spring job so it's easy to cock....some CCM's are sprung light enough a good solid jerking motion can cock it. At least i have heard stories of that, guys just jerking their arms back and forth and cocking it. I can almost do it to my buzzard, but it only gets about halfway back before the mainspring overpowers it. :P

Cups seem to be the average "go-to" for nut armor. Honestly, I approach my protection needs the same way I've seen some ref's go - a towel. I take one of my shemaghs, fold it a bit, attach it to my web belt, then rock on the day in a spiffy loin cloth fashion. I have taken a "lobbed" hit to the nuts doing this. Most of the energy had already decreased from the round, but it still had a good pep to it. It felt like an unwanted flick, but alas, no damage! No bruising or prayers for death. So...if you're looking for a light and dirt cheap fashion of protection, grab an inconspicuous looking towel (shemaghs are the bee's knees,) and if you feel it's not enough, wrap some cardboard in there. Shemagh + velcro + cardboard = nut flap armor.

...Yes I know, I'm amazed by my own creativity. Seriously though, I've seen it done before, and I roll with it every event.

I saw one kid get a two pod belt and position it right there. Worked for him all day. Until he needed to lay down quickly...
