After looking at the "Favorite Car" thread, I realize, alot of those vehicles are quite expensive. So I thought I would make this on. I am thinking of buying a new car after I finish basic training.

So, look it up, you have to be able to buy the car, new, for less than $20,000. List your favorites

My Favorite, Mazda 3 5-door. It is actually pretty quick for a little car, and handles quite well.

MINI Cooper. The Cooper S is over 20k USD, but that's my choice to drive. It really is very fun. When I buy my own car it's going to be a MINI convertible.

I stand corrected, in 2003, the Neon SRT-4 was priced at 19,995, before Destination and Delivery charges. But more after that year, and you cannot buy one anymore...

i think the highest i ever seen was 22,000. i'll change my answer if need be, i love 1000s of cars.

question on the rules....does the car have to still be able to be purchased new? or does just the value have to be <20,000 when new?

I'm holding out for when Toyota inevitably brings a diesel to NA for the Tacoma. That's the *only* thing I'd ever consider selling my Jeep for. (And since that's a way off, it wouldn't be worth it by the time anyways. AND it's a great tow vehicle for it too!)
