Whenever I cock the gun and fire it, the gun fires 3 very fast shots of air, and the paintballs just fell out of the barrel. And then after that, it de-cocks itself and you have to re-cock it, but it still does the rapid 3 shot thing. I took it apart and everything looks fine, and the air tank is at 2000psi. Does anyone know what's wrong with it?

Striker o-ring, or ball detents?
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
"Never play AGAINST your wife on her first day paintballing. Wife gets beat = no more nookie"
Mark that quote down... very important.
When I did tech support for Dell a call came in about a laptop that wasn't working right. The guy insisted that the bullet holes in had nothing to do with the boot issues... -Puzuma

mine does this if the bolt is dirty, or the top tube that the bolt rides in. What happens is, the co2 doesn't have enough oomph to push the bolt and sear back when their dirty, and they do a fast machine gun like thing, kinda like when your out of air, but louder and a tad faster. At some point, after a couple of shots, the sear doesn't have enough kick to open the valve, and the marker goes dead. Clean it out real good, check for worn or missing orings, and replace your detents. Is it the version with eyes or without? A nicad or nimh battery will lose it's effectiveness if not stored properly. One thing you can do is cycle it, leave the marker on until the battery is fully depleted, then recharge it. Doing this a few times will get rid of whats called memory, and hopefully bring the battery back (if it's the battery)
Good luck, let us know how it works.
When you call me that, smile.

I believe u mean detent, and those pesky things are easy to lose if u forget about them, timmy detents are pretty good.
