I think the rotor looks really good on the PM8. You are a lucky, lucky man.

Thanks lol, unfortunatly now I'm a broke man...but it's way worth it!

I'll have to see how easy it is to see the paint through the windows on the back, obviously it won't be as effective as a transparent or semi-transparent shell for seeing your paint, but we'll see. I'm deffinatly liking how much lighter it is than my Halo, plus the tooless design is really cool especially for changing the batteries.

But I noticed something...

IT'S WATCHING MEH!

i honestly hate the rotor. find it ugly and toys-r-us looking, and for the price... ill just buy a halo b and a new pistol, thank you. apparently they work great... but so does my empire b... how much better than flawless can you get? the one thing i like is they look less 'fragile'. my halo got hit in the on/off button and completely shattered the black plate. granted it was more of a 2' away hit, but still. they also look kinda hard to clean, just cause it isnt a smooth surface. and you cant see into them to see how much paint you have left.

still, i will admit, this is one of the sleekest setups with one on it ive seen...
thats just not saying much

Halo were outdated when the VLocity came out. The only thing that has been keeping them up has been their reputation (similar to Angels. All newbs what an Angel and a Halo). You can get a lot better than a Halo. Better electronics, maintenance, lighters, faster, more consistent, easier to unjam, less balls breaking, and theyre more user friendly. VLocitys are more fragile and people still use them. This doesnt have a back plate. They're a lot easier to clean than...most things. They have combined aspects of Prophecies and Torques, both of which are supposed to be amazing to clean. Halos are horrible. Granted, VLocitys are much better but theyre more organzied. I'm played enough tourney I guess I know when to reload without looking. Its why I've also had solid shells. Plus they look cooler. You also forget the Rotor has a ramp that raises the paint to an angle so it feeds more consistently. This makes viewing through the windows easier.

But what do I know? :rolleyes:

Ninja, you've owned a Halo tell us the difference.

PM8 = Sexiest DM/PM (Other than my DM4 :) ) IMO

But that Rotor looks awesome, but I can't justify myself paying $150 for a hopper that I'll rarely use. My Torque gets little use as is. :dodgy:

Nice new setup.

I want a Rotor, but I'll probably pass for a while - I have a loader that shoots faster than I do already, although I really like the tool-less capabilities of the Rotor. I've never suffered a jam and I've only had to perform maintenance once - but I admit, the battery consumption of a Reloader B is kind of nuts - 6 AAs. Thankfully, I play enough pump that I change batteries in it perhaps once a year.

edit: typo fixed

I'm in a similar boat. I'm content with my VLocity but once the Rotor prices go down and my VLocity acts up I'll replace it. People here are picking them up left and rigth and are loving them.
