I recently got my hands on an ICD Alley Cat and am wondering how I can clean the Delrin part of the bolt. When I received the marker it was in less than desirable condition as the marker had paint all over the internals and many parts had started to rust or oxidize. The bolt, as some of you know, is half Delrin and half steel(I think). Anyways the rust on the metal part of the bolt I got buffed off for the most part with some elbow grease, but the Delrin part of the bolt has rust and black smudges on it as well. How do I go about restoring Delrin? Buying a new bolt or at least the Delrin part is most likely out of the question given how old the marker is and the fact that ICD stopped production of all paintball products and Vaperworks doesn‘t seem to carry replacement parts for the Alley Cat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
