None of the B. E. Tiger Shark rebuild/tune up kits include springs. So, can any of you tell me what spring kits have springs that will work in a B. E Tiger Shark?

Will Phantom springs or Traccer springs work? I'd like to know of all the markers that have spring kits available that will work in my Shark.

Thanks for your time and help.

Perhaps I asked this at a bad time of day. Maybe now is a better time to ask as more people should be up and online. So, can anyone help me out?

If I were you, I would try to find the Brass Eagle Owners Group forum/site and try to find any info there. I have no personal experience there, so i can't help you. As a last resort, you could post the dimensions of your springs and we could try to match them to any guns we have.

according to Vintage Rex it's nelson based. So yeah, you could try Phantom springs, or ever cocker springs. Both use nelson.

Thanks Legato.

Viherkogen, that's a good idea, sadly I don't have a caliper so measuring it will be a little harder.

According to my measurements the factory spring has a 12mm outer diameter and a 9mm inner diameter. The overall length appears to be 45mm, but due to wear it may have been 50mm when new. So those of you with Phantoms, if you could/would be so kindly, measure your main spring and let me know the measurements in mm. Thanks.

My Autococker mainspring measures 50mm long, 12mm OD, and 10mm ID. For future reference the valve spring measures 30mm, 10mmOD, 8mmID. As Legato stated, Nelsons and Autocockers can share a spring kit but the AC springs are a tad longer, come in larger packs and are generally easier to find, but they will run a bit more expensive.

Thanks for the info. Viherkogen, I'll have to check into that.

A brand new Phantom mainspring is (mine is) 47mm long, 12mm OD, and 10mmID. If this is the right size, you could get the spring kit from CCI and you would have 3 springs, one regular, one 15% less and one 15% more. The kit is probably about $10 shipped or less. It also includes a Phantom valve spring.
