I'd say camping any day. It may not be as comfy, but camping with the Commonwealth was half the experience for me last year. You won't really need a vehicle to get around. The site's small enough to walk everywhere. You could drive to the vendors, but there's nowhere to park really.

Oh, and sweet JK. I've love to get a JK 4-door, but, being on a student budget, I had to stick with a used TJ. Do you have a BB on there? It looks taller then stock.

The $5/person charge is a facilities fee, not necessarily for players. Family and such that come along but do not play also use the showers/trash/etc. It is for these items the $5 is being charged. We are discussing that we may roll it into the registration for the 2010 season, but it is remaining this way for 2009.

So yes, this fee applies to all people.
This is my sig. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My sig is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My sig, without me, is useless. Without my sig, I am useless. I must type my sig true. I must spell better than my enemy who is trying to judge me. I must type before he ridicules me. I WILL... My sig and I know that what counts in this forum is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the splatter we make. We know that it is the hits that count. WE WILL HIT... last year there was rap4, jt, bt, tippmann, planet elcipse, a few food places, and several other vendors. believe me bring extra money or travlers checks

the $5 a person thing doesn't bother me that much but i think it would be better if it was included in the overall fee. o ya, JR nice sig!

before you guys leave for d-day check out the d-day site, they have a map of the vendor area and see who has already rented a spot.

I keep getting better and better news on this event. My co-captain sounds like he's all in for it and the prospect of his folks getting a new camper is sounding better. Might even have a couple guys I wheel with joining in.

We havnt made any decisions on what side or battalion we're going to join. The french resistance sounds pretty cool, but I'd also like to experience the beach landing. At this point I'm leaning towards the big red 1. Any input?

Good luck wrong way. Have you settled in with the GJs yet? They are a good group. Know some of them. Be sure to swing by the 899th camp if you get the time. I started my trip to D-Day as a loner. Brought my girlfriend last year and proposed to her at the field. Best memories ever there.

82nd Airborne my friend. Fast moving. Hard charging. Cover a LOT of ground. Flanking. Hit and Run. Attack. Defend. You get the full house and the kitchen sink. Gettng dropped behind enemy lines and having to make our way into German occupied territory. Small Unit tactics at its finest. Any interest, let me know. By the way, we're stationed out of Omaha. How far away are you guys? We could set up some games before DDay. We have a big one coming up November 29th (Sat after Thanksgiving at 12:00 pm) at our field. 40+ people. Welcome to come out if the drive is reasonable.
