How do I flip the Air tank? On my A-5 Rate Topic:

[*VERY IMPORTANT, THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF ASA's. DOVETAIL MOUNT AND DIRECT MOUNT. IF YOU HAVE A DOVETAIL MOUNT, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A RAIL. Trust me, I ordered the dovetail ASA, but I didn't think I would need a rail. I flipped out, but then remembered that I could rip the one off of my ICD promaster]

*Solved* This is how you would flip the air tank on your Tippmann A-5 to match the Dagger Style

You need two things to flip the air tank on the A-5.
1st. You need an A-5 Drop Adapter because the A-5 grip is slanted.

2nd. You need a different ASA to mount on your drop adapter.

Now just flip the ASA when you mount it, and your set.

I would also be interested to know if you could do that, except on a 98c.

I'm not sure if its possible to do it on your 98c. I know that the 98c already has a flat mount bottom, so I think you can just mount a backwards ASA on it.
