I disagree. BLAST has terrible customer service. This coming a player who has owned at least one BLAST product in his gear bag since 2000.

I have delt with them online, on the phone, in person in their store in Cali, and in person with their techs at World Cup. I can honestly say they are jerks straight up.
BLAST customer service was the reason I started trying to figure out how to fix my own guns without their help in 2000. I have given them multiple oportunities to hange my opinion...they fail everytime.

I agree. I have had the same experience. I have owned just about every brand marker out and some that are no longer in business and only one marker manufacturer is even in the same class as Eclipse when you talk about customer service. My experiences with MD have been very good and in fairness to them Eclipse and MD have been the best experiences I have had.

Sorry but Blast is not even close from what I have experienced.

*****For Immediate Release *****

Planet Eclipse shows their true support for Scenario Paintball and awards Team Desert Edge a Private Label Limited Edition Ego 9. Eclipse and Desert Edge have worked together in designing a gun that appeals to all players, but has a special "wood" flavor.

Team Desert Edge has been playing exclusively with Eclipse gear for several seasons. 2009 brings a fourth year of Eclipse sponsoring the Team. Over the past few seasons, both families have backed each other in every way possible. Desert Edge has continued to do all they can to promote the sport of Paintball with the highest level of sportsmanship. The team's promotional efforts don't stop there. Desert Edge has learned years ago, there is no alternative to Eclipse Markers—and they work hard to prove that across the country year-after-year.

Desert Edge thankfully represents Eclipse off and on the field by showcasing the best gear known to man—from the stylin' casual line of clothes, to the entire "Distortion" line of performance Paintball Gear, and to the most practical gear bags around. Desert Edge is Ecstatic to now get the chance to put their own flavor on the best guns in the sport—and the best Ego yet.

Eclipse steps up their level of support to Scenario World more each year. This new adventure with Desert Edge is yet another way they will no- doubt, bring more players together on common ground no matter what style of play.

Planet Eclipse Ltd. or Team Desert Edge does not in any way guarantee the Desert Edge Ego 9 to actually have the flavor of wood.

Hey guys!

I decided to keep my etek, and I was wondering if any of you have a good video on how to set the ROF? I wanna set my etek to a very low ROF--around 10-12 bps. Also, whats a good inexpensive, and lightweight hopper I can get that fill need that fast. I was thinking a revy....any other ideas?

Thanks

*EDIT*
I got a few more things I wanted to add here. First off do you guys think there is anyway we could get our own seperate Planet Eclipse forum? I mean come on! They have more popular products and gear out than some of the other sub-forums in the "Paintball Marker Talk." Secondly, for the members of D.E., have you guys ever played with/against Team Capitol Offense? I was watching the P.E. Army videos on Youtube and saw them...they looked pretty bad A

I would suggest an Empire Reloader for a light inexpensive hopper. They feed consistently and are very easy on batteries.

I'm not sure how to adjust the ROF on the Etek, I know that holding the trigger while you turn it on will put you into program mode, but I've never owned an Etek. You could try adjusting the trigger so it has a harder pull.

A separate forum would be pretty sweet, but I'm not sure that will happen for a while.

I went to ION last year and played with a few of the Capitol Offense guys for a bit, they play well and show good sportsmanship.

LOL that video with Capitol Offense at the ION. Watch it again. We are all over in it. There is a big interview section where they talk to me and T-Bone. Capitol Offense is an awesome team also sponsored by PE. They are fun to play with and we would roll with them any time.

I second Mitch on the Empire Reloader II

I'm not seeing any big differences between the Empire Reloader II and an X-boarded Revy? What are your guys opinions on these?

Also, been checking out both DE's website and Capitol Offense's website....Man DE is HUGE! You guys have a ton of members ;)

Revy works on an Eye system and the Empire works off of sound.
Eyes get dirty and sound does not.

They are both awesome hoppers but I think that the Empire has fewer issues because they dont use an eye system that can get dirty.

Ya we have worked for a long time to get the number and quality of players on DE that we do. The good thing is that EVERY player on the team is a FREEEEKING ROCK STAR on the field and would help any player on the field of any age on any side.

Except me I really suck but I try and be a nice guy so they keep me.

You forgot the part about being a cute and cuddly mascot too.

Congrats DE on this. A very well deserved honor. The marker looks sweet and I can't wait to see one in person. Come hell or high water I'll be at PBaddicts next time just to see this beauty.

Got another question for you guys. What are the HPR and LPR Bump pistons? I know they are regulator ups, but what exactly do they do? Would I be able to buy them for the Etek1 and what would they replace (I wanna get rid of the shim stack if possible)?

Thanks

It is just the "Piston" in the HP reg and the LP reg. It wont replace your shim stack just the piston the shim stack goes on. The BUNP kit is a good upgrade for eTeks and older PE guns but I personally think the stock pistons in the 07 08 09 PE guns are just as good. Thats just my opinion.

I have a quick question. Is it possible to put an 06 board on an 05 ego. I heard you could do it with a star frame, but I'm not sure.
