Right on the battery....low voltage causes velocity problems as well as extra air consumption.

Ok, what board do you have then? Virtue or NOX? I have access to the NOX manual as well, and I am sure I can find the Virture if need be. Without knowing the board settings we are really just spinning the wheels.
When I got my '07 it was used as well. I have no idea why but the guy had the dwell, anti bolt stick and bolt delay all jacked up. I was getting just under 500 shots out of my tank. I think the guy was trying t screw with me, ut it was an easy fix by simply following the manual.

For future reference...any problems need to have as much info as possible so we can diagnose and help you fix it.

Z3RO...is your board still jacked on your 06?

Yup. I still haven't bothered to replace it, and I don't think I know anyone who has a precise enough soldering iron to put the dipswitch box back on.

Got the Droid manual too!

MacDev Droid manual in .pdf format

As for the First Shot Drop Off...That is typically cuased by using too much lube on the ram assembly.

On the back of the ram is a small oring...the is the ram bumper. If there is lube on the ram bumper it creates a vacume on the ram resulting in FSDO.
And if there is lube on the oring...then there is lube at the back of the ram housing that will continue the problem. Ram Bumper must be dry!

Then there is also a setting for bolt stick...that is a last resort kinda thing to change!

Yea, I had some FSDO before. Just take out your ram, carefully pull off the smallest and very furthest back bumper o-ring, and make sure it's completely dry, as well as the area it sits on. Actually, wipe off the entire thing and very carefully re-lube it. Before putting it back, clean out the ram housing with a Q-tip and maybe some paper towel or something.

Wow, I was out of town for a couple days and we had a problem and got it 95% fixed in the time I was gone! Anyway, when we got my wife's 06 Borg used, I was getting velocity spikes of +-30. Come to find out, the guy had heard somewhere that lower dwell = better efficiency and had set the dwell to 4ms. Stock on a Cyborg is something like 10 or 12 (I think the 07 was lower than the 12 on the 06) and it works just fine at stock dwell.

I think the ram lubing issue should fix it but, if not, try turning up the Anti-Bolt Stick setting on your board.

I just checked and apparently stock dwell on the 06 is 10ms and the 07 is 6ms. I thought it was 8ms on both... although I'm sure 8ms should work fine on either one still, since it's pretty close to both 6 and 10.

Well it is a late model '06. Personally I would put its price at $375-450.

Putting a price on that is tuff though because we really do not know how much use it has had. Could easily be in need of a rebuild. Might be a jewel.

As son as the RX hits the market I would drop that price by 10 to 15%.

Probably closer to $1050-1100. Droids were going for $900-950 the first few months and the RX is $250 more new.
