My favorite "trick play" is the "Free Pod!" tactic. You simply fill a pod full of crappy old paint that isn't worth a darn and toss it out into a designated killbox and dig into cover and wait for someone to go snag it.
Word.

That's a pretty neat trick haha.

I just got an order in for my pod holders. Can't wait for them to come in.

Nice, what'd you get? Personally I'd get 2 for my front, and get a 4+2 with horizontal tank on my back, which I would probably never use.

Getting the 4+2 and horizontal tank, 2 for the front, a radio pouch and a utility pouch.

now do you prop up the pod or do you leave it laying around as if you had really dropped the pod?

Probably makes it look like an accident and drops it somewhere so it looks authentic.

Thanks.

I believe I really play two positions at the same time. Broadsword and Ambush Sniper, sometimes maybe even a little dagger.

My core is Broadsword style with the usual equipment to go with.

I often find myself able to setup ambushes on the fly. I also do alot of flanking.

Every few games or so I will sprint of the start to get in very deep very fast and setup ambush. Or if we have objective, I may run to get into place near the objective, drop some gear, grab the objective and sprint back to base.

I have found that moving hard and fast for objectives has served me well more than not. However, I can see how this tactic can get one into trouble really fast just as well.

I guess it has alot to do with luck and the ability to think on the fly and adapt quickly.

I'm also looking to get a chalk knife, a guy I met a couple weeks ago was talking about it, it would bring a new style of gameplay to paintball.

It's pretty much just a dull blade with powdered chalk on it, how sweet would it be to jump out of a tree and mark their back with that?

Some kid would see that.. go home and get his dads hunting knife thinking thats what it was, come to the field next time and charge a player with it...
