Help
i want to get a marq from boblong and was wondering what your opinion on it is and weather i should go with a different gun?

I think it's a great gun with a revolutionary design. I havn't shot one and I don't know how easy maintainence is, but they shoot real nice if you take care of them.

They have some of the best customer service around.

They are great guns, along with any other high-end gun. If you want one get one.

I have one on order. I was #3 on the list that started after it was revieled on D Day. Called them about a week and a half ago and was told 4-5 weeks before they think they will be ready to ship.
I did not get to shoot it but I did hold it. It felt "right" to me and I believe that this may be my primary gun once it arrives.
Bob long has a great reputation and if you look at reviews on pbnation you will want this gun.
Down side it is expensive I have not gotten the final $ but looking at $950

I think you may be thinking of the wrong gun swamp thing.
The BL Marq is already out, so I dont know what you mean it is not ready to ship yet.

The Bob Long marker revealed at D-Day this year would be the M-Tac. The Marq is a "speedball gun" and the M-Tac uses the same internals as the Marq.

If you can afford a Marq series gun and they feel good in your hands then definitely get one. They are a little different in terms of how they feel compared to most guns but they are niiiiiiiiiice in my opinion. My friend has a Darq Marq (Warped Sportz version of the Marq) and it's one of the 3 nicest guns I've ever shot. I'm not sure how good the stock barrels are but with a good barrel they shoot as straight as you could ever ask for a paintball gun to shoot. They have amazing range, decent air efficiency, are DEADLY QUIET, and are fairly easy to maintain. Unscrewing one screw on the back of the gun allows you to pull out the bulk of the firing engine for easy cleaning.
One important note, if you do get one, don't dry fire it without first taking the pillow part of the Pillow Bolt out. My friend learned the hard way that the pillow will indeed fly out with enough dry firing. I hear the Frenzy boards aren't all that great but Bob Long probably wouldn't use them in most of his guns if they weren't up to par. I do know that the Tadao boards are pretty damn nice though.

No, hes right... there are two bad DUMPER (I know the filter isn't using "DUMPER" anymore, but I kind of liked it) woodsball markers running around with what should be speedball marker internals.
M-Tac... uses the marq's internals
TM-7... uses the mini's internals
