Also, now that I think about it, a lot of airlines will actually give obese people a second seat free of charge (if you have babies, you still need to pay for their seat). Priorities aren't BOINKed at all?

thats cause people would rather get off the plane than sit with someone that fat... and the fat people refuse to believe theyre so fat they need a second seat or to pay for it

im actually pretty suprised... last i checked, australia ate WAYYYY less sweets and had less fast food chains than us

Actually that is changing, Air lines are starting to require obese people buy two seats. Which makes me happy as I shouldn't be paying to have your fat sitting in my seat.

The Golden Corral

I LOVE that place! Yeah it's unhealthy but it's nice for a treat once in a while. For a buffet I think their food is outstanding because they have such a fast turnover rate so it's always nice and fresh.

The gas prices are forcing Americans to...Oh no!...WALK OR BIKE PLACES!!!!! Once they go down a little we shall be on top.

lol

America =/= high gas prices

Don't ever go to Europe if you're complaining about American gas. It's over double the price of American gas. Luckily, in Europe all cars are very fuel-efficient and the majority of the people make at least one trip on foot daily. America is such a huge country, everything's so spread out. The exception is the large cities, where you have a ton of walkers because walking is actually FASTER than driving to work. But America has suburbs and spread-out towns and cities, which force people to drive.

What if you got a country of 10 people, and 3 of them are obese?

Statistics and percentages, I scoff at the very idea! :D

We'd eat the fat ones first, then use all the space they took up for extra leg room.

After my trip through America for D-Day, I can pinpoint the exact causes of obesity in America:
1) HOLY GRAVY OVERLOAD BATMAN. We stopped at this chain called the Golden Griddle or something, and there was, like, 4 kinds of gravy! What the hell? And the gravy was on EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! It was like a gravysplosion! That can't be good.

Mmmm... gravy.

Quote

2) Your food is SO DAMN CHEAP. A meal at a fast food place costs me $6-$12, depending on what I'm getting. It's about 2/3rds that in the USA, and there's more food per order. I mean, I hit up Arbys and got 3 burgers for $5. That was a mistake, your food kicks my intestine's butt.

They had a special going on at the time where it was 3 roast beef sammiches for $5.

Quote

3) Your beer sucks. You have to suck back gallons and gallons of that crap to get a decent buzz. Like, Americans get beer guts just because they need that much storage capacity to get going. I mean, what's this 4-5% crap? I don't consider it a real beer until it has AT LEAST 5.5%. 8% is better.

I'm not allowed to comment because I'm not 21, though can be forced to die in some god forsaken country in a war that I niether support nor want to fight in (in general). :D

Quote

4) Sonic. There's a resturant that makes its name delivering your food right to your car. Not even drive-thru for those in a rush. No, they can make a service on the average American being SO DAMN LAZY THAT THEY WON'T EVEN GET OUT OF THEIR CAR FOR FAST FOOD.

Sonic plays off of the whole '50's drive up theme. They're pretty much the only chain that does this though.

Hah.. says the guy from Colorado.....

Nah. Jokes.

I must admit, I had me a fantastic lunch on the Rez at a subway today... kept me going for the rest of the 300 mile drive home.

BTW, if you are ever in Wyoming; Sheridan is a nice town. The Pony is a great bar/grill. And I didn't have to eat anything deep fried. Although, I did watch the rest of the surveyors consume WAY too much disgusting American beer. Hooray for being the DD.

And about physical activity.. job. Work keeps me active. Also gives me no time for anything after about 80% of the time. Oh well. I am about the color of rye bread now.

Mmmmmm rueben sandwich sounds good!

I think that school should require gym class for every grade level. And it should be more strenuous than it is. Also, bring back dodgeball. Give the fatties incentive to work out.

HEY! If you're going to make fun of me for living somewhere then get the state right, dumby. I've only lived in CO for a year. I was in North Dakota the rest of the time. Where you can go just about anywhere, light up a bond fire and drink till the sky becomes the ground. Though I never did it.

Wait! You were from North Dakota?! That explains EVERYTHING! :P

I enjoy all of the state v. state stuff. Makes me chuckle.

Bon fires are a blast. I think I might get a group of people together for one Saturday night after the fights. Bring some hot dogs and a few cans of beans. Camp out. Should be a good time...

Point being, I think laziness is a MUCH bigger factor. I know older people can't eat all that stuff and work it off as easy but with kids

this is the only factor, if we were a country that instead of sitting at our comps  and watching TV, if we were active and running around and jumping and playing sports and all that stuff, then it wouldn't be an issue, if you work out regularly and at a good pace, then it won't matter what you eat.
