how often during a game do you guys spend more then 10 minutes at a time on your belly to get close to a hard to reach area of the feild

only in between games when im napping..the games i play are less then 5 mins long..but i do crawl because i find myself always running toward the snake on break

10 minutes in prone position? In paintball? Heck, I'm better off having a comrade cover me and risk sprinting through the paint.

in most small games you'll be lucky or unlucky to have a 10 minute game. i gone prone for at least 10 to 15 minutes in 1 or 2 matches. i find that thought out big scenario games you can go prone. i know the fox and hound or cat and mouse whatever it is called can go that long cause the objective is to find one or two guys that are hiding. going prone is big in those types of games.

its hard to lay down in the thick woods near the bayou. I tried it once and found that i was laying in fire ants. I think its better to stay on two feet or at least on one knee in that kind of terrain. I will crawl if doing so will keep me from giving away my position but thats about it.

We usually have about 20 vs 20 and our woods are pretty thick and we have alot of dry shallow creek beds and high grass. I crawl pretty often with great results. I still love that one shot suprise attack. I live for it.

egh, like said before, i usually never go prone. When i do its usually in tall grass when im wearing ghille.

I only go prone in big games. With some good camo (CADPAT for me) people have walked right past me. Me and my brother made up the fourth side in a massive attack and managed to occupy and eliminate 6 players in a pillbox. They didn't know where we were!

I'm right with Shoots on this one. Due to, ahem, 'local influences' down here (namely fire ants and snakes), I tend to crouch and move more than bellycrawl/prone.

It has to be pretty easy to see what I'm crawling on to go prone.

I have only once spent 10 minutes on my belly and that was because it was me against four other guys and I laid an ambush. Then after i shot two of them i ran around and finished them off. Sometimes it helps but i usually am more of a mover.

Rarely am I crawling on the ground for more than a couple of minutes. I've managed to crawl 100 feet in five minutes. Unless you are extremely well covered, there is no way you are not going to get shot in 10 minutes if you are crawling...

i never go prone. Why? 'cuz the two starting points on our field are within range of each other. I just crouch and leapfrog with my teammates.

I only go prone on certain occations. I usualy paintball in a woods that is split apart by two creaks. The creaks were widened with machenes so now there is a 30 ft. grassland and the grass is about 5 ft tall. So sometime when i feel like being stealthy i go prone in the edge of the grass and wait for the enemy. I can get an easy 3 or 4 outs fairly quick.

I think I'm with the rest of the boys on this one....well, aside from the fire ant s and snakes (because they dont like snow). If I'm spending 10 minutes prone, it's because we are setting up for a big ambush or defense. If I have to be on the deck, it's to get that first kill and then usually its go time. We don't usually play long enough games to where prone for long durations pays off that much.
