I may have wrecked one of my cars, but I fixed my marker, & Randy's quick UFA fix did the trick. Unfortunately, I left my moon-roof open nearly all day, so I'm still drying out 4 bags of gear & equipment. ;)

This last Saturday was awesome. I wish we could have got a few more games in, but with over 20 guys on the filed, and the rain and wind blowing, it sure made the game exciting. Nothing like dropping 200-300 rounds on four advancing opponents in total downpoor, and high winds. If only I had windshiled wipers on my mask, I would have been able to see much better.

Andy/Wayne -
Where were you guys? You missed an awesome day of play.

We set up an additional sand bag bunker half way up the hill to the castle, and expanded some of the lower bunkers at the base of Normandy. We also tried out the Alamo. The tower was awesome. I can't wait until the 16th of may for Normandy. It should be awesome with that many people playing Normandy with all the additional bunkers.

It looks like, as of now, Corey, Dan S, Dan L (possible), Bryan (possible), Chad, and me. I am working on bringing a co-worker out also, but it will be her first time.

We actually canceled that game, which was more of an impromptu practice... we weren't going to get enough players to justify it for most of the team. Sorry. We are practicing again on the 9th. Check with our captain, Projectile, to see about coming out.

Thanks, we'll be sure to forward that onto Chad, the field owner.

For anyone who is planning on coming to the Halo Charity game, please opt in so we can get a better idea of how many people to expect. I figure we will have between 150 & 200 players. The Bananna & Club 97.3 will also be coming out. We have several items to raffle off to help raise money for Making Strides for Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society. As always the price is the same only $10 dollars to play, and $10 for air all day. For anyone who was there for the Normany game you may know that they ran out of paint with 116 players. Chad has doubled the amount of paint that he has on hand, as well as added more Co2 tanks.

Our next team practice will be at the Landing Zone on Sunday, July 12th from Noon to about 6. If you're interested in seeing what our team is about feel free to come out. If you're looking for someone to play against, send me, Projectile, or Poorwolf a PM.

The next game at the LZ is going to be Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers on Saturday August 15th. Chad says it is going to be a "true scenario" so we'll post more info when we get it. We've really enjoyed the turnouts we've had so far and would love to see you all come out for another sure to be great game!

We'll be holding the Lord of The Rings: Two Towers at the Landing Zone on August 15th.

Also we're still recruiting! If you're interested in joining a great group of players in the Greater Thumb Area of Michigan, look no further than SPECTRE!
