Wow. This sucks. Second time out and I pull up lame with a hamstring tear. Oh well, at least I have the forums and some KILLER pix of everyone's custom work and Big Bone's superb craftsmanship!

Like I said, I'm just starting out and my first marker is a Spyder VS1. With the inspiration of all y'all's jaw dropping set ups and paintjobs, I took about 10 minutes and Photochopped my marker with some camo. For the little effort I put in, I really like the potential! Holler with critiques or kudos. ;)

Nice stuff.

Yes, I used Photoshop and used some layer functions to camo the gun. I'd love to get it done, but I'll have to save up some cash first! :D

I'm sure BB wouldnt mind the profit margins on a zillion.
Great job on photochop. I thought it was a real marker at first. You did a great job. The design looks awesome! If you want to be camo better, I probably would drop the black areas and lighten it up. If your just wanting good looks. Its excellent just the way it is. It has the appearance of being metalic paints. Or Spot anodized. I don't think thats possible though. Great prototype!

EZMOde with what I had... I don't think I'll pay the $$ for a VS1 camo job, but it was fun. For those wondering:

1. Googled the pattern and then filtered by size.
2. Went to the Spyder site and DLed the PDF of the VS1
3. After clipping the gun, I copy/pasted the camo on the top, then played with levels a bit.

Leg is healed, and having a blast. Thanks for the feedback!

Just so you know, photochop is great for comping a paintjob. But executing the paint scheme is is a whole new ballgame. Good luck!

Oh God, I relatively sure my actual painting skills are nowhere near good enough to actually execute the paintjob. Plus, I'm positive that I'm too chicken!! LOL! Let's leave the actual painting to the pros, yea?

Great photo shop skills man. I'm still working on getting mine to that kinda level. Charile's tried to teach me but I'm so photo shop noob it kinda goes over my head. Now Adobe illustrator I'm not too bad at (kinda have to be) but I haven't taken the time I have with photo shop as I have with illustrator. Nice job man sorry to hear about your hamstring, hope your feeling better.
