What is the operating pressure? i need to know if i can get a LP tank?

You can use a LP or HP tank. The operating pressure has nothing to do with it since operating pressure refers to the ram system/noid and not the output pressure at the breech. (hence a lpr.)
A LP tank of 450 psi would work fine. Don't quote me but I imagine anything over 300 psi would work.

You *can* use a LP tank.
HOWEVER, with a HP tank you don't need to worry about shoot-down, or general consistency issues.
You'll get the same number of shots (HP = more pressure, less volume per shot. LP = less pressure, more volume per shot.) per fill, and if your Etek breaks down and you have to use a Tippmann/<any other HP marker> you'll still be good, where-as with a LP tank you'd be fubar'd. lol.

Maybe this isn't quite the right place to be asking this but what the hell. I'm in the market now for my first real electro marker are Eteks worth looking at? I've seen them referred to as dumbed down Egos but I buy something new every season so I don't feel like dropping a grand on a marker I'm probably going to replace next spring anyway.

They have less ups, and are thicker, heavier and are a lot louder and have a lot of kick compared to other guns.

I'm not sure on all the 2008 differences between Ego and Etek2.
Trigger and barrel for sure.
I thought the Ego had a different frame that the etek2 can get. Also different eye system.

Actually pbnation was pretty helpful there were still a huge amount of retards but from what I can tell the Etek seems decent enough I'm going to hit up a few shops on Saturday and check a few different markers out but the Etek looks like a good choice for the price.

Ya the etek is a great gun and probably the best bang for your buck. ya its not quit an ego but its fairly close and it is CHEAPER by far if you dont want to spend the big bucks i would say etek.
