If you already have an ion it really isn't worth it unless you are particularly going for that image. It's pretty much a purely aesthetic modification. Some like the look while other's don't. Aside from that it really doesn't do anything to improve performance.

I love my longbow, but remember it only holds 20 balls. If you want a little more firepower, go with a Qbow

its not all look....it removes the hopper so you can have a clear line of sight down the center of the marker. now you can use a sight if you wish. you also no longer need to worry about batteries for a hopper.

you also no longer need to carry pods with you. just get the longbow mag holster and your set.

honestly im having second thoughts about going q-bow because i like how light you can run with the longbow....just the mag holster and a leg pouch for your air and your set

Its all preferance. On average, how many balls do you fire ion a game? do you want extra firepower just in case? There are stock class players that can own speedballers with 10 balls, so its up to you. Or you could do what I do, which is go longbow, but carry a pistol

For some people Its hard to conserve paint. If your new to sniping I suggest keeping yourself concealed near a medium rifleman so If your cover is blown he can suppress for you while you flank to the side(note If you use a flanking maneuver don't go directly to the side instead go back a ways and then around so your angle is a little behind the opponent). I think sniping is fun because it relies on strategy rather than firepower.

One of my really good friends uses the Ion longbow. Thing is sweet! It's so much lighter than my "Sniper" modified A5. I'm a big guy so I don't usually notice the weight of other markers but the longbow on the ion is super light! Has a great dot sight on it and boy does it shoot like a dream! Really quiet too. :usa:

I do wish SpecOps still made the Blackcells though.
