My friend bought a used 05 Ego awhile ago and it has a weird leak that we can't figure out the cause of it and can't fix it until we do. It's leaking in the bottom tube around the rammer and whenever we push down on the bolt pin it stops leaking. It used to leak when you first air it up but if you de-gassed it and re-aired it up it would seal now it leaks all the time. I think it might be a bad o-ring but other people told him it might be the solenoid. I'd appreciate any help you guys can give. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

He's going to be ordering an o-ring kit for it just in case an o-ring needs replaced. So when he gets that he'll clean and lube the ram assembly. And I didn't check to see if the bolt was in the right way because I hoped Andrew wouldn't have a problem that simple but I'll check.

Take the gun apart, make sure every thing is in the right place (bolt/ram/ barbs and such) and then come back, it could be that he is using the wrong lube, what is he using?

We took the ram out and lubed and it works fine now.

Hooray dry o-rings!

Lubing up the o-rings is always the first thing you should do when you have a minor leak like this.
Even if you just lubed them a short time ago, do it again. If the problem persists, then you have a faulty part.
My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.
