My name is Devlin James Hyde. But most people call me Delvin since they can't spell my name right. That really gets on my nerves. Anywho, I first got into paintball when........well I don't really remember what got me into the sport in the first place. Feels like its something thats always been there. Which is great because this is the only sport I'm good at.
Nowadays, I going through my last couple of years of High School. After that, I plan to go into video game design/production. Don't worry, I'll still be playing paintball. Guess I'm one of those guys who just dosen't grow up.
What snagged my attention to SpecOps, were a few brigade members. Long story short, I asked about their gear, they said, "SpecOps" and now I'm here. Infact, if it weren't for SpecOps I'd never would have been able to get as far in paintball as I did. So big ups to SpecOps.

I have been playing paintball off and on for about 5 years I think. I played every weekend for quite a while but my gear got jacked, I loaned it to a "friend" and I never saw him again. The SOB moved out of state.
I got some new gear last year and started playing again. My friends and I have formed a team known as the Average Joes and we are trying to play as often as the wives will let us out of the house.

My name is Tim, callsign of Thalion. The callsign comes from Lord of the Rings culture/languages, i forget which fictional langauge from LOTR though. It started as a gaming handle, and well bringing it to paintball made sense to me.
I captain the scenario team Sentinels, where I also perform various roles depending on the game. I am sometimes the tank hunter, although I do mostly other command related functions. I command more like a sabre that's in charge of a squad would and less like a true, pure commander.
I'm also one of six regional representatives for Minnesota Regional Area Teams (RAT). RAT is an organization dedicated to helping network, connect, and improve the Minnesota scenario/woodsball community. Currently, we have two events that RAT is hosting in the works, with more to come I'm sure.
Birthdate in July, 1986 (this way I don't have to update this post every year)

You can read the general intro I wrote here:
I just joined the Brigade and am wondering how to affiliate with a regional chapter. This looks like exactly what I was searching for!
Don't think I am a jerk for making my Brigade profile private, but I don't need my name broadcast all over the 'net because I work in law enforcement.

Tell me if you know of a longer word.
Anyway, real name's Matt, and I've been playing occasionally for about two years, but finally cracked and got my own gun in January 06. And in Alaska, that is not paintball playing time. Anyway, I've only played outlaw speedball and woodsball, but I like both the same. I call myself a Dagger/Sabre, because I'll do everything but fling suppresive paint at a single possesion. I'm on a budget here, give me a break. So I naturally buy the most expensive paint available in Alaska: Evil at $70 a case. AHHH! Can't wait till I move. Anyway, now that my rant is over, I shoot a 98C with a qloader mounted under the ASA (very awkward but it creates perfect balance), and I still enjoy paintball as much as I did when I started.
Take that back, I enjoy paintball more and more every time I play, because I constantly have more fun, and learn more tactics and improve my technique.

I began playing paintball nearly 5 years ago, shortly after 9/11 (no connection exists between that and my decision to start playing paintball). I've mostly played outlaw ball ONLY, though always with safety in mind, and when velocity could be checked we chronoed to under 300.
I'm 22 years old, and am now a Super Senior (more than 4 years) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, AZ residential campus (Hey all you ERAU-DB folks, Daytona sucks ...don't worry mods, just some good natured intra-university rivalry), majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathmatics. I graduate this December. After that, things are kind of up in the air.
About a year and a half ago I made the decision to cut back on my paintball activity, and I've essentially gone from playing mostly outlaw and some scenario to being a dedicated scenario paintballer only. I nearly exclusively play Black Cat scenario games.
I'm a versatile player, so I'm mostly a medium rifleman. Since I've played less, I have lost some of my aggressive edge, and thus my performance has dropped. If I regain my aggressive edge, all my other skills become maximized and I perform much better (by aggressive, I don't mean dagger. I simply mean I keep playing and don't worry about paint flying by me unless I'm being shot at).
On my brigade page are pics from various times during my paintball career. I don't have pics from my first year playing (senior year of HS), but you can tell the order essentially....maybe. They're not uploaded in Chronological order.
Anyway, a bit more about me, huh.
I was born and raised in Salem, VA. I finally left after I graduated HS and came out here to Prescott, AZ for college. I'm your all-round good guy, or at least try to be. Besides being a paintballer, I'm a fan of good anime, good sci-fi novels and movies, a writer, and video game player. I'm also a tech geek. I built my computer last summer, and she's still going strong in comparison to most 'new' systems today.
Before everything else, however, I'm a Christian. I came to Christ soon (relatively) after I started college, and have been growing in that area ever since. The paintball community has its own challenges to someone trying to be obediant to God, but I've done my best to not compromise on what I know is right simply to blend in better. I'm not a speedballer, and I generally dislike it. THis isn't b/c I've been indoctrinated, it's just that I personally prefer the rush that comes when playing woods and scenario, as opposed to the short-lived high intensity action of speedball.
Anyway, that's me in brief. Feel free to ask me anything you deem to be appropriate.

I'm Adam aka Snake and I live in the wonderful (at some points) city of London, Ontario, Canada. I've been playing paintball since around 1999 or 2000. First time I played the game, I was instantly hooked, and pretty much drained whatever money I had at the time playing, and I'm not sorry I did, either.
Currently, I'm running a 98C, which I've started to mod with an M4 stock, remote line, sorta-polished internals (I did a bit of a rough job, so I'm re-doing it), and up next is a barrel and a sight rail. Then some more mods, some more gear, and I'll be Rambo lol. My favourite colour though, eh? Hmm, guess it's whatever colour I shoot the OpFor with at the time
