Now this may sound questionable but here me out. The decoy, even if just one player, works.

P-Ballers are naturally action junkies (normally) and sprint to the first signs of a fight. The 'diversion' takes advantage of this factor and allows for other friendly players to capitalize on the distracted or unknowing opposition.

Only one or two players that can 'hold their own' for a little bit can do the trick. But they must be placed in the most expected point of contact. That means your decoys are running to place on the field where previous fights were held or a heavily used path.
Do not send decoys to any point on the field. Its important that decoys are first to draw fire.

Then just use a combination of the strong side stack and flank one side of the field (preferably the elevated or cover prevalent side).

This will work on a playing field of almost any size. From a 2 acre wooded lot to a good sized field.

The KEY is that the decoys make a lot of noise and the flanking majority's position is unknown.

Speed and timing are everything for getting into both positions. It works
