Someone in my area is selling a 2k2 Timmy for $180. Provided he hasn't sold it yet, I'm probably going to buy it for myself, or talk my friend into buying it.

I already own a Tac-One, so I don't really NEED a high end electro (shooting fast never is/was/will be my thing) but I would like a more efficient gun for my outlaw woodsball games. I have no idea how efficient Timmys are, so if anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear them. I'm currently heading over to PBReview right now to find some reviews on it.

And do Timmys require a low pressure tank?

Timmy's are OK on air. You can use HPA on it. $180 .... I would pass on it. You can find 2k5's for around $250. At which point I would say get a PMR.

$180 is too much for a 2K2. $100-$120 is more like it, unless it's been 2K5'd.

Timmies are decently efficient. Not as much as a Cyborg, but they're poppets so they're up there.

It has some upgrades... I think. I have no idea how much Timmys are really worth. Here's what he listed it has:
WAS Equalizer Board
CP Back and 10' Front
SupaFly Bolt (Delrin)
Sabre Trigger

I thought that $180 was a lot better of a price than it actually is. I'm probably just going to buy a good Crossfire tank instead. It costs about the same and this way I can stay a loyal Automaggot.
