Help
Well i was checking the Bob Longs webste and i found the new Ripper 3, the look is awesome and it has some new stuff that makes the Ripper 2 obsolete,the problem is of course the price its 1100 dollars thats INSANE but well i dont really have experience with timmys and i want to know the opinion of the experienced guys about it. Thanx.

Timmys are like the new autocockers. A common phrase you'll hear with Timmy users is "I rather be working on a Timmy, than shooting an Ego." Ego's are basically the same design but refined. Smaller bodies, better electronics, QEV's, etc etc.

I would rather pay 1100 for a nice marq than a Ripper3...
When set up right timmies can have some insane efficiency. Also with the right ups you can drastically reduce the kick that some timmies experience stock. They're great markers but like I said for 1100 I would rather have a marq.

I'd agree, but I try and stay away from stacked markers anyway.

Ill save money and maybe i buy a timmy but im still not sure... ive been thinking about another upgrade for my mil-sim marker well is actually going to be like a new marker, the at series from get real paintball are awesome and i really want a mag fed marker but i dont know hehe

The technology in that timmy is old - Although they are easy to clean they are a pain to do poppet maintence on. I had 3 timmies and 2 DF2's. For $1100 there's so many better choices.

Where do you guys shop that it's $1100.00?
