i think the only common answer to this topic is that if you run out of paint, do what is best for your team first, whether it be barrel tagging, 'designated idiot' or even going out and resupplying, all that matters is that you put the needs of the team first.

For me.....I don't get to play often enough for quitting to be an option.

I know exactly how you feel. school really hurts the whole get out and play mentality.

When I have come up with my air or paint gone; I have always become a decoy and attempt to draw enemy fire. This reveals their location and puts my team in a position to take them out. I'll try to let my team members know what I am doing, so they will lay low and make me look like a lone wolf. If my team sees me running and start suppressive fire, that defeats the ruse of drawing enemy fire.
Since I am a WoodsBaller, I'd rather get closer to "One Shot - One Kill" than shooting a "Rope of Paint" and needing to refill my hopper a couple times every game. I prefer Accuracy and Stealth - OR - Going Sergeant York on the opposition with Medal of Honor BALLS. (and I'm not talking about Paint Balls.)

True, but when you give suppressing fire and someone uses the cover to barrel tag half the other team, it's hysterical. Especially when they realize just how many get tagged. Some people have gotten the entire remaining team when we play small sided games.

I'm usually a decoy when out of air because...I just love to be bait. I only do this with players I can count on to not run away when a hail of fire comes towards me (They always throw the weekend warriors with me). Most of the guys I play with are loaded to the brim with paint so I usually just ask to borrow some.

I remember once I just ran straight towards the enemy base.
And failed miserably, got shot like 4 steps out of cover.
