Please don't necropost. BTW, when I see anyone running with a barrel over 16"- I'm not intimidated.

Palmer Pursuit Shop - Brass

They come in lengths of your choice, unvented, single spiral or dual-spiral vented and at least two bore sizes: 0.685 and 0.688 cal, though I've heard they will bore out to 0.691.

Unique feature: they are elliptically honed.
Explanation: the bore is tighter at the tip and base than the middle. (don't confuse this to mean if you look down the barrel, the cross-section appears as an oval - this is not the case)

I've owned 4, with a 5th on order. 1st was an Ion-threaded 12" unvented on an SP-8. Next, 12" double-vented 0.685 and 0.688 for a Blazer, now a 12" double-vented 0.685 Autococker-threaded and I have a 12" double-vented 0.685 AutoMag twist-lock on order. They are that good.

@Violator: this is a pinned thread soliciting input about barrels. I don't think necroposting is an issue here.

Rap4 Recon Barrel.
I use the 8 inch for my A5 P90 mod. It has Straight Rifling in the barrel. My grouping are much tighter than the stock 8 inch barrel. Plus, I can change the muzzle tip when I want for aesthetics.
Stiffi's are also nice, light, and dampened. Accurate too.

I just looked at the compiled list of barrels and votes. Its interesting that the low end cheap barrels have the most votes.

If you have had any experience with various barrels you KNOW that the flatline is one (if not THE) worst barrels available.

The Kits are not even in the running but are by far the best. Why is this the case?
