In order to increase the chances of your gear being located, serial numbers or UNIQUE identifying traits are required, along with the date your gear was stolen.

All threads with out two of those three characteristics will be removed to lessen the distraction from threads that have more possibility of success. This isn't because we don't think you have a chance, just because there is no way to tell your gear apart from someone else's and the unspecific thread will distract from specific threads.

No, you won't be warned for posting without the data, unless of course its done in a ridiculous manner.

Please do not post frivolous gear that can be cheaply replaced (i.e., CO2 tanks, pods, shake 'n shoot hoppers, low-end pod packs, etc.). If it's a common item under $25, just write it off as gone for good if you've exhausted local resources. People lose a LOT more expensive gear, and posting low-end equipment devalues this entire section and reduces the chance that their equipment will be recovered. The whole Internet does NOT need to be searching for your squeegee.

Additionally, if your equipment is found, please post here so we won't keep looking for gear that's been recovered. That way it won't be distracting from gear that still needs to be found.
