Now when I go to the tiberius arms website there are two categories; recreational and less lethal. What is this less lethal?

thank you,

Less lethal is what the police use for crowd control and such.

That's pretty cool,

I think they might be doing something with law-enforcement?

There are a few things that they could offer to law enforcement. There are the pepperballs like TM said some companies have also come out with a type of fragmentation grenade that shoots out rubber balls (I have seen these used in prison riot control situations). There are also rubber bullets. Lots of things are considered less leathal. The thing is less leathal does not equal none leathal.

Yeah,
Less lethals are law enforcment and riot control.

Bean Bag rounds, Rubber rounds, OC rounds (Pepper Spray is an incorrectly adopted term. It's actually called OC spray or Oleoresin Capsicum), High volume water streams, Tear Gas, CED (Conducted Energy Device (commonly labeled as 'Taser')), to list a few examples.

If anyone here is a fan of Dog the Bounty Hunter (I'm not really) but I've noticed on his recent shows that they now carry paintball style arms with OC rounds in them.
At least it doesn't look as goofy as the MK4's they are dragging along on their thighs. ;)

These are called less lethal because they do not effect as a lethal option, however there is risk of a side effect of it's use becomming lethal.

For example: Use of the CED. Some persons with existing heart conditions could die as a result of a CED being use on them.
This is not to say it's a poor choice for a defensive item. If a person does not want to die as a result of a CED being use on them, then they should consider obeying the law and acting responsible.

On a side note, I recently found some 12 gauge Tear Gas rounds at work in one of our ammo storage containers. I thought that was cool. They look like a plastic slug.

I know this is an old topic, but it's exactly what I was looking for, except no answer. I noticed this is 07, and here we are 4 years later, and the tiberius arms website is still saying "public side coming soon" but I am so curious as to what they offer on the less lethal side. Anyone hear anything? see anything? sneak anything out? I mean I'm a huge fan of thier paintball markers, and thier customer service and knowledge is great, so thier less lethal stuff should be impressive.
