Well, it is an AEF cycle. I called it a TDY and got yelled at and sternly talked to about how its a real deployment. blah blah blah blah. Its a damn TDY, just for 120 days. And its hot. Haven't been off base yet...too busy not doing anything while waiting for my damn tools to come in. They're 2wks late...

Nah, it's single-engine and a prop, too, so survivability is not-so-much. But it's cheap, to buy and to fly.

Meh, I'd rather have an A-10, cause I doubt it'll be carrying the same 21 foot monster gun.

Naw, it's a little wing-mounted thing, not nearly as scary as the A-10 cannon. Still though. The capabilities of the AT-6 are damn-near insane, and I'd expect to see it getting a lot of COIN work.... maybe more than even the A-10 gets. Maybe. We'll see.

I can see it as a great export for countries who want CAS capability but don't deserve...er, can't afford the A10. :huh:

ROTC is the way to go. I just graduated and commissioned Friday, so I can probably answer about any questions you have.

Wow...it's been forever since I have been on here. I'm currently a recruiter for the Army. I've been in the Army for nine years, been to South Korea, Germany, Iraq twice and Afghanistan once. If you have any questions about the Army or the military in general hit me up.
