im sorry but it takes balls, specifically skidloads of balls to lug a DT of any sort, especially up against dudes who are metrosexually inclined to wear jerseys ;) :dodgy: and bartend, pour me a 3/4 grey goose vodka with 1/4 sprite for a good buzz man

Deadman speaks up from the corner of the room and says. Is it true that hammers carry two guns to make up for what is lacking in other areas?

Yes, I have a very small car. Its a focus. I'm a big guy and I drive a Focus. I have to have a big paintball gun to make up for my tiny car.

I see you went from the small bus to a small car to stay in your comfort zone. Hammers must be so inscure to need such a powerful marker.

The short bus was a very safe place and I needed the close walls.
And we are very insecure. We need two barrels because we can't hit anything with one. Thats why my new pump has two barrels. I'm not good enough to hit anyting with one(I played all day with it and I think with two revvys on it and a Stubby 45/4500 tank it weighs as much as a DT because of all the brass.)

how;d you figure that out!? what are you, Nostradamus!? :) :(
we just dont have any more arguements here. i think pretty much everyone wisely (or unwisely...) left us Hammers alone.

hmm. i designed and built the double barreled spyder body to get the massive firepower in a smaller package, im still having problems with the crosspin system though.

its what happens when the gods of paintball (hammers) have shunned the non believers enough to where now they know better than to debate on our "worth" or "usefulness". basically it was a mental slaughter, and those whom we didnt disembowel went scurrying for their lives never to return again.

wow thats some colorful imagery. i must be craving red meat again.

Junior Chief Executive Vice President of Human Relations, Sir Melvin de Accounting Department proposes to the council a new project for someone with machining equipment at the ready. We need a six lobed cam housed inside a box small enough to fit inside an A5 trigger guard with a direct drive from an outside crank and a lower mounting arm to bolt it to the trigger guard. It would need lobes with enough lift to depress an A5 trigger and enough space between them to allow the trigger to fully reset before the next lobe begins its lift of the actuating tab. This would easily allow us a few luxuries.

One - One full turn of the crank would have six shots. With the current size crank arm we could theoretically pump out 50% more shots per second using the same effort as before.
Two - We could use larger crank arms and be able to increase our BAMF factor while being able to maintain our current rates of fire.
Three - ???
Four - Profit.

All in favor?

a machining center equipped shop shall be found, I have a couple in mind, one being Rainman229, the other being a local shop by name of Wright Prototype, www.wrightprototype.com they may be able to take the order, another is our good friend, Doc92, if he can spare the machines  what we need in addition is a mechanical engineer and a draftsman (CAD artist so to speak) who may be able to make one for the E-grip type A-5 frame, realistically, an E-framed marker may be the best route, as they allow for the shortest trigger pull possible (a good example would be an e-spyder, however, the A-5 is more ideal due to the size of it, thereby increasing the BAMF factor)

well, as hammers we all know we share some things in common...
1. big guns
2. love of big guns
3. shooting big guns
4. love of shooting big guns
5. people in large groups
6. love of shooting people in large groups
7. cheap paint
8. love of LARGE AMOUNTS of cheap paint
9. more guns
10. love of shooting more guns
11. home depot
12. love of building paintball things because of home depot
13. scuba/welding shops
14. love of explaining our projects to scuba/welding shops employees.

and so on.

so i figured i'd start a new discussion, seeing as how our forum CONSTANTLY gets chopped down to like 4 topics (arg!). well, i believe we should conduct this kind alike a really big conversation in one thread to save the topic police the hassle of deleting stuff. i guess its meant to be awhatever's on your mind kind of thing.

so, with that said i think we all need to look at doc92 and give him a big old hug for saving the double trouble from oblivion with firestorm going out of business and all. and not only does he save our trade tool, he DOUBLES the friggin thing! gotta love it! also, has anyone else noticed that we are pretyt much the only "industrial" strength position? i mean it in the sense that when we have a gear issue, we have to go to home depot for heavy machinery or materials, no paintball stores for us.

also, has anyone ever thought (per the hammer/broadsword debate) that we're on a totally different plain of measurements? it's like EVERYONE fails torealise that we deal by the skid of paint, not one or two cases per day of play. how about the fact we occupy places like scuba shops and welding shops, and deal with air in poundage and not ounces, and cubic feet not inches. or that WHENEVER we buy an upgrade we have to buy 2? not to mention the amount of food and liquid we need to fuel ourselves versus a normal player. i mean c'mon, we're practically titans.... or orks depending on your love of big shootas.

well, i guess thats all i can think of right now. feel free to add your random hamer thoughts to the thread.

ps- anyone realise there hasnt been any broadsowrd/hammer debates lately? it seemed that for a while we got one every week.

We'z da Hamerz, we gonna stomp you good, an' if u fink u iz best you is rongz cuz we iz green an' green iz da greatest. WAAAAAGH! Now where's da grots wot gotta carry my bullits?

I guess you play 40k? Hehe my other addiction.
